A bespoke manufacturer of complex technical plastic mouldings for a range of industries such as Medical, Automotive, Electronics, Medical and Packaging is actively seeking an experienced Injection Moulding Technician to join their busy production facility.

The main focus of the role will be working with the management team to up skill the current workforce, resulting in improvements across quality, scrap, and time, helping the business reduce costs and maximise profit margins.

***£35,000-£38,000 depending on experience, working Monday -Friday***

As an Injection Moulding Technician your duties will include:

  • Tool changing and condition setting.
  • Trialling of new tools.
  • Identifying improvements and implementing solutions.
  • Working with more junior members of mouldshop to help bring up the skill level in the business.
  • Troubleshooting process issues.

For the role of Injection Moulding Technician, the ideal Candidate will be:

  • An experienced Setter or Technician, with exposure to working with different makes of machines and a range of polymers.
  • Skilled in problem solving and troubleshooting.
  • Flexible with working hours in order to help develop the business.
  • Willing to share your knowledge, mentoring and training junior team members.
