Injection Moulding Setter
A leading manufacturer of plastic components to a range of industries is currently seeking Injection Moulding Setters to join their business. With history spanning over 60 years, they have a strong customer portfolio, ensuring job stability.
Your role as an Injection Moulding Setter will be to ensure optimum production is achieved, whilst maintaining a high quality of the products produced, and keeping scrap to a minimum.
***£32,000- £35,000, working Monday - Thursday***
As an Injection Moulding Setter, your duties will include -
- Tooling change overs
- Condition setting & trialling
- Resolving machine related production/quality issues in an efficient and timely manner
- Providing efficient end of shift handovers
- Barrel and screw cleaning
To be successful in the role of Setter, the ideal candidate will have -
- Previous experience as a plastic injection moulding Technician/Setter
- Good knowledge of plastics and their uses/properties
- Experience of condition setting, tool changing and troubleshooting
