A leading manufacturer of equipment to power and telecomms industries is currently seeking an experienced Injection Moulding Setter to join their team, where you will be responsible for ensuring that tool and machine setting, production efficiencies and quality control are carried out to a high standard.

As Injection Moulding Setter your duties will include -

  • Carrying out tool changes and set machine process using best practice and in accordance with health and safety procedures.
  • Conducting trials of new tools to achieve optimum performance
  • Minimise machine downtime, scrap and other material wastage, and optimise setting conditions
  • Maintain quality throughout production run
  • Responsible for care and low-level maintenance of both machines and tools
  • Carry out tool trials

To be successful in this role, the ideal Candidate will -

  • Have previous experience within an injection moulding environment, including knowledge of how to set from scratch, trouble shoot and process optimise
  • Have worked with a range of materials
  • Likely hold the job title of Setter, Technician, Toolsetter, or Process Engineer
