Inhouse Commercial Solicitor

Your new company
My client is one of the largest utility businesses in the UK.
Your new role
As one of our Commercial Solicitors, you will have the full remit of non-contentious commercial matters and some pre-contentious commercial and contract disputes. You will work as part of a team of 6 other commercial and competition law solicitors within a larger multi-specialist, multidisciplinary team of circa 28 lawyers and 10 property professionals.

You will enjoy leading high value projects and can expect to handle complex contracting and contractual matters on a regular basis. Advising the company on the legal ramifications and structuring of a wide range of commercial arrangements and diverse projects, transactions, and contracts, you will have autonomy and responsibility for your own workload and be expected to steer the direction of your area of expertise.

What you\'ll need to succeed

• Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with Practising Certificate
• At least 3+ years PQE
• Solid Commercial Contracts experience including supply agreement, procurement contracts, NDAs, etc.
• The candidate with public procurement contracts experience would be a plus
• Can travel to Worthing office 2-3 days a week
• Excellent communication and people skills, persuasive and can build up strategic partnership with key internal stakeholders
• Team working, down to earth and hands on
