Inhouse Accountant

£40-50k Annually

A forward-thinking, growing Distribution company based in Manchester, Trafford Park is looking for an In-house Accountant to join the team.

You will play a crucial part in enhancing their financial processes and providing valuable insights to drive strategic decision-making. If you have experience with financial reporting, budgeting and experience dealing with cost analysis. We would love to hear from you!

Requirements:

• Ideally AAT/ACCA/CIMA or qualified by a degree-level
• Experienced Accountant with over 4 years +exp
• Ability to prioritise workload and work to deadlines
• Abel to pay attention to detail
• Efficient on IT, including Microsoft Packages and Experience on Accountancy software such as Sage

Duties Include:

• Maintaining and updating the company’s financial records, including sales, purchases, invoices, payments, receipts and bank reconciliations
• Preparing and submitting the company’s VAT returns, and other statutory filings
• Payroll
• Producing monthly management accounts,cash flow statements and budgets
• All year-end procedures
• Liaising with external accountants
• Assisting the Managing Director with financial planning and analysis
• Implementing and improving the company’s accounting policies and procedures
• Accruals and prepayments
