Project Manager (Infrastructure)

Manchester                                                                           

£45- 57K (2 year FTC)

An Infrastructure Project Manager is required for our public sector client who are based in Manchester. The successful candidate will have specific experience in delivering Network projects, particularly Wi-Fi & LAN. You will also have experience delivering HPE Aruba switches, Access Points, DHCP rollouts, device re-IP Addressing. Working with Estates teams is highly desirable.

Skills/Experience required-

  • Hands on experienced with Network technologies (Cisco)
  • Experience implementing LAN and Wifi upgrades.
  • Extensive knowledge of network technologies and project management methodologies.
  • HPE Aruba switches, Access Points, DHCP rollouts, device re-IP Addressing
  • Experience managing and delivering technical projects within an academic or not-for-profit environment.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities-

  • Oversee the delivery of network projects, ensuring alignment with organisational standards and objectives.
  • Develop project plans, manage risks, and monitor performance and progress.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and communication throughout the project life-cycle.
  • Perform technical reviews and approve technical designs.
  • Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to ensure project success.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management practices within the organisation.
