Infrastructure Engineer

Infrastructure Engineer Required for my client based in Hull.

You will be joining an established team where you will play a critical part of designing implementing and maintaining the infrastructure.

This role is hybrid with 3 days required in the office.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing and upgrading Windows servers.
• Design, implement, and maintain IT infrastructure.
• Administering Hyper-V virtual environments, although strong VMWare is sufficient.
• Developing and maintaining comprehensive documentation and implementing security practices.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as an Infrastructure Engineer or a similar role with hands on configuring Servers and Hypervisors
• Strong experience with Windows Server, Hyper-V,
• Highly dynamic and fast paced environment
• A deep understanding of Server and infrastructure best practices
• You will need to have awareness in networking such as DNS / DHCP / Routing etc but not expected to configure etc.
• Good, professional communication skills in person/phone/email
• Natural aptitude for troubleshooting and problem solving
• Can use own initiative, work independently with proactive approach
• Have an eye for delivering efficiency and improvements
