Infrastructure Engineer - Darlington remote (40-47K)

Senitor Associates are excited to be working with a market leading organisation in the Darlington area who are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Infrastructure Engineer to join their team. This is a fully remote role however, you will be required to go into the Darlington office once a month for team meetings.

Role -

• Proactively manage data centre environments and cloud infrastructure to assure the delivery of services, applications and data
• Proactively manage core, centralised and distributed technology
• Ensure all technology domains, components and services are secure and operated within the prevailing security policies which aim to mitigate current and emerging threats

Experience/skills

• 5+ years experience of managing & supporting Microsoft server operating systems and infrastructure applications
• Experience of coaching, mentoring & developing others within the team.
• Experience of delivering, managing and supporting innovative technology solutions within compute, storage and security domains.
• Cloud infrastructure including compute, storage, network & security services (SaaS/PaaS/IaaS - specifically Azure and serverless compute/web services)
• Server, storage & networking hardware
• Virtualisation
• Virtual Desktop Technologies
• Cloud technologies (AWS, Azure)
• Backup, Recovery & Disaster Recovery (VMware, VEEAM, etc)
• WAN, LAN & WLAN
• DNS (Cloudflare, etc)
• PKI, network & information security
• Microsoft Server Operating Systems
• Microsoft Active Directory, Federated Services, Azure AD
