Infrastructure Architect 

Home based (with travel to Monkspath, Solihull)  £65,000 - £75,000 + bonus

(Depending on the number of projects at any one time, you may have travel to our head office in Monkspath, Near Solihull, site vistits or meetings, whioch could be based anywhere in the UK.)

Stonegate Group are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Architect to join the join our business and take an active role in developing and progressing all systems across Stonegate Group, which is one of the UK’s biggest pub groups.  The Infrastructure Architect will design and implement information systems to support the enterprise infrastructure of the business

The Infrastructure Architect will be responsible for:

  1. Designing and Implementing strategic network and security architecture while following industry best practices
  2. Determining technical requirements for delivering and maintaining infrastructure, including establishing performance management metrics for the WAN and LAN
  3. Oversee vendor design of our data communication networks and keep our partners “honest”
  4. Technically advise on new project requests to ensure that any new solution being proposed is suitable for our enterprise environment and able to be supported
  5. Regularly reviewinfrastructure design, data, and systems security, and assist in the development of technology and Digital roadmaps
  6. Assist in the adoption of cloud infrastructure

We are looking for an Infrastructure Architect to have:

  • Extensive, significant industry experience as an Infrastructure Lead or Technical Authority or Architect
  • A proven track record with designing, implementing and modernising existing WAN and LAN environments with a cloud first approach
  • An excellent working knowledge of core networking and network protocols including network security protocols and policies to protect against cyber threats, Active Directory, Group Policy and associated Microsoft technologies
  • Experience in designing and implementing enterprise wireless networks
  • Experience in public cloud infrastructure and platforms services such as Microsoft Azure
  • Practical understanding of data integration, ETL, data warehouse and BI technologies (SSIS, SSRS, BizTalk etc.)
  • In depth technical experience and understanding of a broad spectrum of Microsoft technologies and platforms (Windows Server, Dynamics Navision, Dynamics CRM, SharePointOnline and SharePoint onpremises, Office 365 etc.)
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or related subject
  • Relevant Microsoft, and or Cisco certifications CCNA, CCNP, CCIE  (or appropriate experience in lieu of), ITIL qualifications or experience
