About Us

Healthcare Quality Improvement Partnership (HQIP) is a small, dynamic organisation with a broad remit which commissions and manages the National Clinical Audit and Patient Outcome Programme on behalf of NHS England with whom we work closely. In addition, HQIP hosts the National Joint Registry which is managed as a separate entity.

We are now looking for an Information Governance Support Officer to join our team on a permanent, part-time basis, working 18.75 hours per week, from Monday to Friday.

The Role

As an Information Governance Support Officer, you will support our information governance (IG) function by providing a range of administrative assistance to the IG Lead and the IG Executive Board.

Supporting the effective management of the data access request (DARG) service, you will manage third-party applications to access data from our commissions, ensuring that requests are processed in line with relevant legislation.

You will also log and review DARG applications for the sharing of data for secondary purposes such as research, or other uses outside the remit of the audit. Engaging with external applicants, you will ensure that queries are addressed and actioned effectively.

About You

To be considered as an Information Governance Support Officer, you will need:

- Administrative experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft applications
- Excellent communication skills
- The flexibility to travel to Central London for occasional meetings and events
