We are seeking a dedicated Information Governance Advisor ready to contribute to our Public Sector department. This entry-level position requires a keen interest in data protection, information governance & GDPR matters and strong attention to detail.

Description

The Information Governance Advisor will:

  • Provide advice and guidance on information governance matters.
  • Assist in the development of policies and procedures related to information governance.
  • Support the team in ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
  • Support on DPIAs, DSARs, FOIs, RoPA and other areas of Information Governance.
  • Contribute to the training of staff on information governance issues.
  • Assist with the handling of information requests.
  • Collaborate with various departments to enhance information governance.
  • Participate in relevant meetings and workshops.

Profile

A successful Information Governance Advisor should have:

  • A solid educational background in Law, Information Management or a related field.
  • An understanding of Information Governance & Data Protection and issues related to information governance in the public sector.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A proactive approach and the ability to work autonomously.
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks.
  • A commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
