Validation Engineer

Are you passionate about manufacturing excellence, quality assurance, and project delivery? Our client, a leading defense organization, is seeking a talented individual to join their dynamic team. You'll directly contribute to the success of critical defence programmes by validating their external supply chain for full-rate production readiness.
What You'll Do:
  • Own a portfolio of key suppliers, managing relationships and driving their adherence to quality standards
  • Conduct in-depth assessments to evaluate supplier capabilities to meet project requirements
  • Utilise tools like Process FMEAs, MSAs, Process Mapping, MRLs, and Production Readiness Reviews to ensure suppliers are ready for production
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks to supply chain and manufacturing processes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Design, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Quality
What You'll Bring:
  • A manufacturing engineering background with a keen understanding of processes and techniques
  • Experience with manufacturing or supplier quality, ideally within the defence or aerospace industries
  • Familiarity with New Product Introduction (NPI) or manufacturing capability transfers
  • Proficiency in Industrial Validation tools: Process FMEAs, MSA, Process Mapping, MRLs, Production Readiness Reviews
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills to drive root cause analysis and implement improvement plans
  • Strong communication skills for effective interaction with various stakeholders
