Industrial Key Account Manager

Home / Field based.

£60k - £65k plus car, laptop, phone etc.

My client, part of a well-established, global organisation, is looking to recruit a home /field based Industrial Key Account manager to cover the UK market. Reporting to and working closely with the Commercial Director, this role is focused on developing existing key account business and seeking new opportunities whilst actively offering support.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

  • Maintain a close relationship with key account contacts providing regular and accurate reporting information.
  • Introduce new products, references, and new product technology.
  • Manage Customer pricing.

Key skills and experience:

  • Previous experience in a similar role with materials handling experience
  • A good understanding of battery chemistry and battery charge technology
  • Good understanding of UK and international industrial equipment manufacturers and importers
  • Have a proactive and reactive selling style.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Able to plan your own diary.
  • Ability to build and develop relationships with major accounts and customers.
