My Cheshire based client is an expert in claimant Personal Injury and civil litigation matters. Due to continued growth they are seeking to hire an experienced Industrial Disease Fee Earner with specific experience of working with MOD / Military injury claims.
Responsibilities
Working with minimal supervision, the role involves dealing with a caseload of MOD claims for industrial deafness and military hearing loss. Cases will be handled from initial instruction to successful conclusion.
Experience Required
- Industrial Disease knowledge and experience in litigation
- Complete case handler mindful of statutory legislation, CPR and relevant case law
- Ability to keep calm and deliver results in a performance driven environment
- Ability to work to tight deadlines, effective organisation and time management skills
- Ability to deliver excellent legal advice while maintaining client care standards
- Working knowledge of compliance issues, relevant codes of conduct and accounts rules
- Ability to work in a team
- Proven billing record
- Good IT skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience of MOD related claims would be a distinct advantage.
