The Company
Nigel Wright Supply Chain and Procurement Team are delighted to be exclusively supporting a market-leading Manufacturer in their search for an Indirect Procurement Manager to join their UK Indirect Procurement Team.

The Client supports both hybrid and flexible working and offers a host of other attractive benefits!

The Opportunity
The main responsibilities for the Indirect Procurement Manager are as follows:
  • Procurement of a variety of indirect spend, including Facilities Management and Marketing, MRO and Capex (multi-site)
  • 360 degree procurement role from sourcing and tender management through to contract negotiation/-management
  • Building excellent working relationships with internal stakeholders, adopting a business partnering approach
  • Spend analysis and new supplier sourcing
  • Supplier performance management - resolving supply issues as they arise
  • Focusing upon key metrics - cost avoidance/reduction, supplier consolidation, sustainability
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements


About You
The ideal Indirect Procurement Manager will have/be:
  • Strong indirect procurement experience, ideally from within manufacturing sector, multi-site
  • Hands on approach - accustomed to roles requiring both a hands on and strategic approach
  • Ability to build strong stakeholder relationships, excellent communication skills
  • Proven track record in identifying and implementing process improvements 
  • Strong team player
  • Adaptable to dynamic environments
