Indirect Category Buyer – Manufacturing

Stratford-upon-Avon – 3 days in the office, 2 WFH

£49k DOE + 10% Bonus

Are you experienced in negotiation and supplier management? Do you have experience working within a manufacturing/engineering environment?

A business in Stratford-upon-Avon is on the lookout for a Indirect Category Buyer to join their Procurement Team. You’d be working for a business who put their people first, in a close-knit team with a really positive culture and working environment.

In addition, they are also keen on internal development in the form of CIPS qualification funding/support. You’ll also have the flexibility of hybrid working, with 3 days typically spent in the office and the rest at home.

Day to day you’ll be responsible for the strategic procurement of your chosen categories. This will include but won’t be limited to:

• Supplier management and performance reviews
• Managing tendering process and contract negotiations
• Approving and onboarding new suppliers and achieving better commercial terms

Exceptional communication/relationship building skills will be pivotal for this role as you’ll be very supplier focused.
