Independent Reviewing Officer

Your new company
Swansea Council are looking for an IRO to join them on a 3-month temporary contract. Joining them as an IRO, you will be chairing the reviews of Looked After Children and children placed for adoption as required by the Adoption and Children Act 2002. You will be needing to chair both initial and review child protection case conferences as required by the All Wales Child Protection procedures.
On the initial 3-month contract, you will be on a rate of £38 per hour and the post may be transferred from area to area dependent on need.
What you'll need to succeed
- Social Work Degree
- Registered with Social Care Wales
- Full UK driving licence
- At least 3 years' experience
