We are looking to recruit a Non-Motor Incident & Claims Handler proactive handling of claims involving property damage and associated elements in a cost effective and efficient manner to closure within allocated authority levels and in agreement with procedures guide SLA’s.

  • This role is full time, permanent – 35 hours per week, working hours between 7.30am – 7pm.
  • Fix working hours available.
  • This role becomes partly hybrid after completed training in the office, meaning 3 days at home and 2 in the office if desired.

Responsibilities

  • Handling of incidents/claims in line with the Claims Procedures Guide/SLA and Current Case Law
  • Handling of incidents/claims up to an authority level of £5K in line with the Claims Procedures Guide/SLA and Current Case Law
  • Process of supplier invoices up to an authority level of £5K
  • Complete reviews aqs required.
  • Attend all relevant training as required.
  • Attend where required any meetings with UK Bus/UK Trains
  • Report accurate work returns.
  • Support inputting of telephone reported incidents by own drivers.
  • Handling all data including CCTV discs in accordance with company/departmental policy and Data Protection Act

Requirements

  • Excellent organisation and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work confidently with contacts across UK
  • Strong verbal, written (including drafting) and problem-solving skills; and
  • Ability to work to challenging timescales, when required
