Incident & Claims Handler
We are looking to recruit a Non-Motor Incident & Claims Handler proactive handling of claims involving property damage and associated elements in a cost effective and efficient manner to closure within allocated authority levels and in agreement with procedures guide SLA’s.
- This role is full time, permanent – 35 hours per week, working hours between 7.30am – 7pm.
- Fix working hours available.
- This role becomes partly hybrid after completed training in the office, meaning 3 days at home and 2 in the office if desired.
Responsibilities
- Handling of incidents/claims in line with the Claims Procedures Guide/SLA and Current Case Law
- Handling of incidents/claims up to an authority level of £5K in line with the Claims Procedures Guide/SLA and Current Case Law
- Process of supplier invoices up to an authority level of £5K
- Complete reviews aqs required.
- Attend all relevant training as required.
- Attend where required any meetings with UK Bus/UK Trains
- Report accurate work returns.
- Support inputting of telephone reported incidents by own drivers.
- Handling all data including CCTV discs in accordance with company/departmental policy and Data Protection Act
Requirements
- Excellent organisation and communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Ability to work confidently with contacts across UK
- Strong verbal, written (including drafting) and problem-solving skills; and
- Ability to work to challenging timescales, when required
