In-house Lawyer, Commercial - Membership Organisation - Milton Keynes with flexible working - Circa £65k-£75k salary

Robert Walters are hiring for a In-house Lawyer for an instantly recognizable Membership Organisation.

This is a full-time role paying circa £70,000 based in their Milton Keynes office, but supporting different flexible working arrangements.

The role will focus on Commercial Contracts work, but will also include general commercial legal supports and project work.

Primary duties include:

- Draft, review and advise on a wide range of contracts and agreements so that the group's commercial interests are protected and legal risk minimised.
- Solve complex contractual problems and seek solutions that support business strategy.
- Lead on the resolution of internal/external legal queries and liaise with external legal advisors when required.
- Act as a trusted legal resource to colleagues by demonstrating a strong understanding of commercial contract, Intellectual Property and Data Protection law as well as having a good commercial mind-set and pragmatic approach understanding business needs and goals.

The company is looking for a qualified solicitor (or equivalent) with practical experience in commercial contracts, contract drafting/review and excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.

Happy to consider candidates from either a practise or in-house background.
