This is a great opportunity to join an esteemed, international law firm based in London and play a vital role in providing exceptional legal counsel and support to their diverse clientele.

They are seeking a dedicated Immigration Associate to join their growing firm and contribute to the Immigration practice group.

More about the role:

  • Actively manage and develop client relationships including day to day contact with key clients and preparing a variety of immigration applications for private individuals across all areas. This will be including business immigration, family immigration, human rights, the European Settlement Scheme and nationality applications.
  • Provide advice on complex UK immigration matters
  • Work with clients on Administrative reviews, appeals and judicial reviews against decisions of the UK Visa and Immigration (UKVI)
  • Keep immigration knowledge up to date and is familiar with all relevant legislation
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on immigration laws, regulations, and case precedents.
  • Prepare and file immigration petitions, applications, and supporting documents with relevant government agencies.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience practicing immigration law, preferably with a focus on both corporate and individual clients.
  • Demonstrated expertise in handling various immigration matters, including visa applications, asylum cases, deportation proceedings, and citizenship applications.
  • Experience representing clients before immigration tribunals, administrative bodies, and courts.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate legal concepts clearly and effectively to clients and stakeholders.
