Location: Birmingham (Hybrid Working - 2 days a week in the office)

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Global Payroll Manager to oversee a international organization's payroll processes on a global scale. The Global Payroll Manager will be responsible for managing payroll operations across multiple countries, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all aspects of payroll administration. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of international payroll , excellent leadership skills, and a strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

  1. Global Payroll Management: Oversee all aspects of payroll processing for employees across multiple countries, ensuring timely and accurate payroll disbursements.

  2. Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant international payroll laws, regulations, and tax requirements in each jurisdiction where the company operates.

  3. Process Improvement: Continuously assess and improve payroll processes and systems to streamline operations, enhance accuracy, and optimize efficiency.

  4. Vendor Management: Manage relationships with payroll service providers and other third-party vendors, ensuring high-quality service delivery and adherence to SLAs.

  5. Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with HR, Finance, and other departments to ensure alignment and accuracy of payroll data and processes.

  6. Reporting and Analysis: Generate and analyze payroll reports to provide insights into payroll costs, trends, and variances, supporting decision-making and strategic planning.

  7. Employee Support: Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries related to payroll, taxes, and deductions, providing timely and accurate information and support.

  8. Audit Support: Coordinate and support internal and external audits related to payroll, ensuring compliance and accuracy of payroll records and processes.

  9. Training and Development: Provide training and guidance to payroll team members and other stakeholders on payroll policies, procedures, and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • The ideal applicant must be on short notice or immediately available
  • Must have experience running international Payrolls
