IFA Servicing Adviser

Salary: £40k -£50k + bonus structure and great company benefits

Location: Burgess Hill - office based

Hours: Mon - Fri 9am - 17.00pm

My client is a highly respected and well-established wealth management organisation that is looking to for a bright and articulate individual to join their servicing team, where you will be servicing an existing portfolio of clients for all their personal financial planning requirements.

You will already have a background within an IFA/ Wealth management organisation and be Level 4 Diploma qualified with an aim of achieving chartered status.

Responsibilities:

  • Liaising with clients over the phone, teams and correspondence in line with the organisations business plan.
  • Contacting existing clients in accordance with agreed level of services offered.
  • Making sure client information is obtained accurately before any recommendations is made.
  • Ensuring the portfolio are managed in accordance with the client’s mandate, objective and firm’s investment proposition.
  • Undertaking appropriate product and market research
  • Making sure all supporting documents are maintained.
  • Dealing with client queries in a timely manner.
  • Prospecting and contacting clients in accordance with the firm’s business plan.
  • Ensuring that you can identify clients who are vulnerable or are in potentially vulnerable circumstances, to treat them fairly and provide appropriate advice.
  • Responding to all compliance requests in a timely manner.
  • Ensuring relevant CPD is maintained and recorded accurately.
  • Keeping up to date with relevant regulatory, product, legislative and technical requirements.
  • Ensuring compliance with the FCA’s conduct rules.
  • Liasing with admin support, Paraplanners and other departments.
  • Ensuring client files are compliant on an ongoing basis.

The right candidate will have the following skills and experience to apply:

  • Proven background within an IFA/Wealth management organisation dealing with client financial planning needs.
  • Level 4 Diploma with an aim of achieving Chartered status.
  • Excellent knowledge and awareness of relevant legislation that affects the financial services industry.
  • Ability to compile reports.
  • Great communication skills both written and oral.
  • Great IT skills.
  • Sound knowledge of FCA regulations and compliance.
  • Personable, professional and a strong team player.
