Shifts: Nights: 5 on, 3 off: 00:30 - 10am

Our client is a leading food business who supply to a variety of the major retailers. As they continue to expand and grow their presence in the marketplace they are now seeking a driven and ambitious Hygiene Team Leader to join their business.
* Lead and manage the hygiene team, ensuring they understand their importance to the business success.
* Fully deputise for the Hygiene Shift Leader during absences, overseeing daily operations.
* Communicate hygiene-related information confidently to external auditors.
* Monitor and manage resources (chemicals, equipment, PPE) to support efficient task performance.
* Address HR aspects such as holidays, sickness, and clocking, ensuring smooth shift operations.
* Collaborate with technical, engineering, and operations teams to improve hygiene standards.
* Identify and resolve areas of concern to prevent foreign bodies or contamination.
* Implement process improvements to enhance effectiveness, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
* Maintain and ensure the availability of necessary equipment in safe working condition.
* Conduct daily stock-takes, monitor consumables, and maintain accurate records to meet quality standards.
About you:
* Experience in a relevant food manufacturing hygiene role
* Category/product experience is flexible
* Knowledge and experience with chemicals and ability with cleaning schedules
* Excellent team player
