Our client in Littlehampton is looking for a number of people to assemble small plastic parts within a cleanroom environment. these positions are to start immediately.

Please see below the shifts to suit

  • Cleanroom Day shift operators -Monday to Thursday 8am-5pm, Friday 8am-1.30pm – paid 39.5hrs p/week
  • Cleanroom Twilight shift operators-    Monday to Thursday 3pm-11pm, Friday 8am-1.30pm – paid 35.5hrs p/week (optional Friday’s)

These hours are also available

  • Monday to Thursday 3pm – 11pm – paid 30 hrs p/week
  • Monday to Thursday 3pm – 10pm – paid 28 hrs p/week
  • Friday as well – 8am-1.30pm – paid 5.5hrs

Full training will be provided for ALL candidates. 

Key Responsibilities

•Identify non-conforming product and/or materials and bring them to the attention of the room supervisor or Quality control inspector.

•Ensure good manufacturing practice.

•Follow company procedures and work instructions.

•Follow guidance and training from Supervisor.

•Assembly of drug delivery and mainly single use disposable medical devices and inspection of moulder parts.

•Inspection and testing of finished product.

•Checking and packing of finished product.

 Skills required

•Ability to work well as a team member

•Good concentration and attention to detail.

 Training

•Full training will be given by the cleanroom supervisor

Health and Safety

•There will be a Quality Control person and a supervisor in each of the rooms at all times.

•The positions are mainly seated and therefore no standing for long periods of time.

•Attention to detail is very important. A full induction and presentation will be initiated on arrival.

•You will be guided how to protect yourself and please follow the strict guidelines regarding washing and the wearing of Jewellery/Piercing and Special clothing.

•Lockers and canteen- Each person will be allocated their own Locker and all candidates have the use of a Canteen.

Previous experience is not essential, but candidates must be reliable, motivated and able to work as part of a team. Manual dexterity is also required as some components are small.
