Hygiene Operative

A dynamic and innovative manufacturer who work with well known and reputable brands are seeking Hygiene Operatives to join the ever growing facilities department. This is a vital area of the business as without you, manufacturing can not take place.

Salary on offer - £26,935.97 to £28,625.97.

Varied shifts available - 09:45am to 22:00pm or 21:45pm to 10:00am covering across 7 days

Are you able to understand and follow verbal and written instructions?

Able to focus and keep calm under pressure with good communication skills?

With good attention to detail and be flexible?

Also able to learn and implement Health and Safety measures and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

Training will be provided for this position but an in-depth knowledge of Health and Safety legislation will be advantageous or Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)

This is a hands-on role and the post holder will be standing for most of the working day, with some requirements for moderate physical effort, including bending, lifting and the operation of basic manual handling.

Where manual handling is required, appropriate training will be provided. There will also be elements of both internal and external working. Where external work is required, appropriate PPE will be provided. The post involves basic documentation and recording of duties carried out on a daily basis. The post holder will be required to work within clearly defined processes and procedures.

Duties involve:

• Being responsible for cleaning production and manufacturing equipment,
• Carrying out a variety of hygiene activities across operational and non-operational areas
• Ensuring full compliance with company hygiene requirements, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Health and Safety regulations at all times.

Holiday Allowance:

23.5 days paid annual leave in each calendar year running from 1st January to 31st December
