Are you looking for a new position in Newport? If you have previous or similar experience then we have a new role for you!

We are currently recruiting for a HWRC operative position based in Newport working with Newport City Council.

The purpose of your role will be responsible for ensuring the public are supported with their waste disposal.

Full Time Position

Where:Newport Refuse Site Docks Way, Newport NP20 2NS

Rate of pay: £12.18 per hour (weekly pay)

Monday to Sunday

Outside based work

Temporary ongoing work

The role will include different areas of responsibility including:

  • Cleaning
  • Assisting customers with waste
  • Customer service
  • Ground Maintenance
  • Helping direct customers to the correct waste dipole area
  • Working within the HWRC team

Requirements for the role:

Good verbal/written communication and organisational skills.

Experience of working in a busy service environment.
