AR533 – HVAC Engineer

Location: Melksham

Salary: £39,520 + Overtime

Overview:

First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a HVAC Engineer on behalf of one of our clients.

If successful, you will be responsible for performing HVAC installations for Data Centres throughout the UK. The candidate will be trusted to work under limited supervision. The role requires a significant amount of nights away and all candidates must be willing to be away from home Mon - Fri.

Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Delivering services with the highest standards of workmanship and safety.
  • Carry out the installation of airconditiong systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning and replacing filters
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues
  • Repair or replace defective components in HVAC systems
  • Conduct performance tests to ensure proper functioning of HVAC systems
  • Promote and adhere to best practices in the industry.
  • Assist during site surveys and asset studies as required.
  • Complete general administration of associated paper work/certificates/drawings

Skills and Qualifications:

  • F-Gas qualifications.
  • Experienced in the installation and maintenance of air conditioning equipment.
  • Delivering Customer Care and being focused on the support and needs of the client.
  • Ability to work on own initiative or as part of a team.
  • Minimum NVQ Level 2 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning.
  • Proficient technical knowledge in airconditioning.
  • Experience in fault-finding on air conditioning would be beneficial.
  • Good knowledge of industry standards.
  • Great communication skills.
