Are you an experienced project engineer with a strong background with high voltage generators? This company is presenting a fantastic opportunity for an individual to enter a competitive, demanding and high quality role within their team of six project engineers.

This role will be a mixture of office work, based in Birmingham, and travel to various sites across the UK perhaps requiring overnight stays. In the office, you will work with like-minded individuals and set industry leading standards. To get out on the road you will be supplied with a company car, overseeing sites and be responsible for cradle to grave projects. This role will be from Monday to Friday offering a great work life balance.

This company coordinate and manage HV generator installations including associated civil works up to £2 million. The role comes as the list of clients in the pipeline expands, opening new engaging opportunities in industries such as healthcare, food production, automotive and education. You will be leading a variety of projects from critical emergency generators to preventing costly repairs through network discrimination studies - the work you will be doing is vital for every client. With both directors starting in this role, this is a golden opportunity for an ambitious individual to propel themselves into a role with limitless progression opportunity within high voltage generation with an exception renumeration package.

The Role:

  • Overseeing projects from conception to completion
  • Responding to customer enquiries and setting deadlines
  • Control work in progress budgets
  • Manage and prevent health and safety critical issues during the quotation/design and implementation of projects
  • Visit active projects under your supervision and manage / direct personnel
  • Quoting and ordering
  • Securing good connections with new and existing clients
  • First point of contact with clients, suppliers and staff

The Person:

  • Extensive electrical engineering background with HV generator experience
  • IOSH Certificate
  • Understanding of ISO9001, ISO140001 procedures
