Exciting Opportunity for a Humanities Teacher at a Secondary school based in Winterbourne!

Position: Humanities Teacher

Working Hours: Full-Time, Monday to Friday

Contract: This position starts immediately and is guaranteed work until the end of the academic year.

Pay: £130 - £254 per day

Your Role:

  • Delivering dynamic and interactive humanities lessons to KS3 and KS4 classes.
  • Full planning, marking and assessment required.
  • Closely monitoring the progress of the group and close any gaps if necessary.
  • Consolidate and extend the knowledge and understanding pupils have acquired.
  • Work closely with the Head of Department to plan lessons.
  • Build relationships with parents, pupils and staff.

Requirements:

  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate (registered with the online Update Service or willing to process with Class People).
  • PGCE and QTS or equivalent School experience.
  • Hold a degree in a Humanities related subject or have the relevant teaching experience.
  • Two professional child experience-related references.
