Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and dynamic Humanities lessons to students across key stages 3-5, catering to diverse learning needs and abilities.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where students feel motivated and inspired to participate and excel.
  • Assess student progress through a variety of formative and summative assessment methods, providing constructive feedback to support their growth and development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to coordinate extracurricular sports activities, competitions, and events, enriching the overall student experience.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a specialism in Humanities.
  • A passion for teaching and inspiring young people, coupled with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Sound knowledge of the national curriculum requirements for Humanities and experience in delivering high-quality lessons that meet these standards.
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to accommodate the diverse needs and abilities of students, ensuring inclusivity and accessibility for all learners.
