We are seeking applications from both experienced and aspiring Humanities Teachers. The school is are committed to delivering the best possible Humanities curriculum and the current Faculty leadership structure is a Head of Faculty and a Second in Faculty - each to lead one of Geography or History.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS:
- Location -St Helens
- Position - Humanities Teacher
- Type of work - Teaching
- Start date -Easter 2024
- Likely Duration - ongoing until May 2024, possibly longer
- Contract type - Temporary
- Full time
- Minimum rate of pay - from £140 per day
- Hours - 8:15am - 4pm
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Degree educated with a good classification, preferably in Mathematics (however, it is not essential that it is Maths related)
- Secondary QTS (PGCE, SCITT, B.Ed, QTS, etc) in Maths
- Previous experience working with young people (which we can reference)
- Experience of teaching in a Secondary School (which we can reference)
- Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, we can provide the training)
- Up to date Prevent awareness training issued in the last 3 years (essential, again, we can provide the training)
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application at a cost of £45.80
- Provide a minimum of two professional references
