A position has arisen for a HR Advisor to work for a leading London based University. This establishment has an ethos of success and commitment to exceptional delivery of service for internal and external stakeholders. Therefore, the successful postholder will be joining their HR team to contribute to and aid this.

Job responsibilities include:

  • Regularly meet with senior stakeholders and discuss each departments people challenges
  • Help each department deliver goals, from recruitment and training, sickness absence, disciplinaries and grievances, change management and general restructuring
  • Embed Academy culture, expected behaviours and help on Academy mission delivery
  • Aid with recruitment and retention of staff, focusing on safeguarding, D&I and equality and inclusion
  • Coach managers on potential employee relations issues
  • Take full ownership of ER casework for the department
  • Ensure compliance with UK Visas and immigration legislation
  • Update and draft Human Resources policies and procedures
  • Hold disciplinary and grievance investigations with the panel

The successful candidate must have:

  • A CIPD (Level 5) and iTrent, Microsoft Office experience
  • Higher education experience (Essential)
  • Understanding of recruitment and selection principles
  • Strong experience in HR and Employee Relations

Salary: £41,769 per annum inclusive of London Allowance

Hours: 32.5 hours per week

Hybrid work: Available with a minimum of 2-3 days in the Academy
