HSEQ & Compliance Manager

Elevation Recruitment Group are currently partnered with a leading engineering business in Huddersfield who are currently looking for a HSEQ & Compliance Manager. This role will be standalone and will take overall responsibility for safety, accreditation to management systems and general facilities over the site. 

Duties & Responsibilities: 

  • Promote a positive safety culture, seeking best practice at every opportunity
  • Drive problem solving and continuous improvement activities
  • Maintain and audit the quality, health, safety and environmental management systems in accordance with ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO45001. Maintain the internal audit schedule for all systems and ensure timely close out of all non-conformances raised.
  • Be the key point of contact for safety, compliance and quality issues across site 
  • Supplier conformance management
  • Management of Risk assessments and corrective actions
  • Assist in delivery of HSEQ related training including new starter inductions
  • Ensure all HSE & maintenance records are properly maintained in line with statutory and management system requirements

I'm keen to speak the HSEQ Professionals with the following skillset:

  • Health and safety experience within an engineering/manufacturing environment
  • IOSH, NEBOSH preferred.
  • Implementation and maintenance of ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 systems.
  • Knowledge of site maintenance and compliance such as LOLER, SEMA, PAT, Legionella control, etc
  • Strong communication skills
