HSE & Facilities Co-ordinator

FTC (12 months) to cover Maternity leave

Required from June 2024 (earlier commencement possible)

Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 DOE

We're seeking a Health and Safety Facilities Coordinator to manage a pivotal site within a prominent engineering group. Collaborating closely with the HSE & Facilities Manager, your responsibilities will include overseeing and coordinating planned maintenance operations throughout the site. This entails, liaising with contractors, conducting audits of maintenance protocols and contributing to the enhancement of health and safety practices, environmental monitoring and overall facilities maintenance.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the HSE & Facilities Manager to supervise planned maintenance procedures across the site.
  • Manage and oversee contractors, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and auditing maintenance procedures.
  • Report on and assist in the development of health & safety, environmental monitoring and general facilities upkeep initiatives.
  • Ensure adherence to ISO 14001 and 45001 standards.
  • Provide support in maintaining a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.
  • Collaborate with various departments to implement and maintain HSE policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in HSE and facilities management.
  • Previous experience in a multi-site or large site environment
  • Familiarity with ISO 14001 and 45001 standards.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
