SF Recruitment is currently recruiting for a HR Officer for an organisation who sit in the Education sector. This is a 7 month temporary assignment offering £25,000 to £29,000 equivalent.

They are looking for an experienced HR Officer to join their small and friendly HR team. The successful applicant will have had significant experience of working within an HR environment, the ability to work in a friendly and professional manner and strong planning, organisational and communication skills. You will be responsible for:

- To have day to day responsibility for the administration of the recruitment processes to include the placing of adverts, the preparation of appropriate documentation and information for candidates and selection panels
- To assist in the organisation and administration of selection processes, including the administration of workplace tests when appropriate
- To contribute to the production of correspondence with staff in relation to contractual matters
- To co-ordinate the arrangements for ensuring that all documentation relating to new staff and staff leaving the College is completed in full
- To support the HR Manager in the arrangements for the provision of covering staff absence
- To oversee the collation, distribution and monitoring of key HR documents, to include support staff standards payments and job evaluation paperwork
- To be responsible for the completion of appropriately approved paperwork for timely transfer to the Finance and Payroll Officer in relation to new starters, leavers and contract changes
- To deal with HR enquiries from staff, directing them to the appropriate source of further support as appropriate
- To assist the Human Resources Manager in the development of HR policies and procedures

What do you need to be successful?
- Member of CIPD with relevant qualification
- Significant experience of working in an HR context
- Experience of working and liaising with a wide variety of people and both internal and external
- Ability to work with accuracy and attention to detail
