HR Officer - Nottingham

H9 Technical are partnering with a Academy looking to hire a HR Officer, occasional travel across academies in Sheffield, Derby, Lincoln and Nottingham areas, with Hybrid & Flexible working

The position would give a candidate great exposure to a regional role and an opportunity to gain experience in complex ER case management.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to employee queries relating to benefits, policies and procedures
  • Provide advice as required on HR matters in all areas of employee relations, including but not limited to, disciplinary, grievance, performance & capability, sickness absence
  • support of compliance, audit, training, recruitment and induction processes
  • Support the on-boarding of new staff including contracts, references and onboarding
  • Responsible for all HR data administration, including updating the HR system
  • And more.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Hold a full driver's licence - to allow for the travel required within this role.
  • CIPD Level 3 or above
  • Have good working knowledge of Employee Relations and working with very high volumes of ER case management, including managing own administration tasks.
  • Be confident and effective coach with a willingness to drive continuous improvements within the HR team.
  • Committed to developing strong and effective working relationships.
  • Proactive, self-starter and well-motivated.

The role comes with a salary of £29,000 - £31,000
