HR / Office Manager

Our client are recruiting for a HR/Office Manager. The purpose of this role is to maintain and progress the business’ human resources. The role requires effective planning, implementing, and evaluating of employee relations and human resources policies, programs, and practices. The position also has responsibilities for managing and overseeing the office tp ensure efficiency of all office procedures and managing logistical requirements.

Human Resources duties:
Maintaining all employment related contracts.
Creating job specifications and recruitment.
Record keeping and managing contractual expectations.
Ensuring the business is in line with all legal compliance requirements.
Managing employee relations.
Maintaining employee benefits.
Creating and managing employee handbooks.
Building strong relationships throughout the business.
Conducting competitor research.
Working though grievance procedures to ensure healthy outcomes.
Organising staff training.

Office management duties:

Overseeing the smooth running of the office (equipment, supplies, cleaning, security etc.) including negotiations with suppliers.
Handling the administrative operations of the business.
Managing all logistical operations within the office including the telephone system, incoming and outgoing mail, travel, and accommodation arrangements.
Following office insurance policies and representing the business for all office building related matters.
Taking responsibility for departmental expenditure; proposes budget.
Managing office filing system and inventory.
Maintaining office efficiency by planning and implementing office policies and procedures.
Organising IT support.
Organising company events, socials.

Reporting line:

This role reports to the General Manager.

Skills required:

• Solid and extensive HR generalist / Office management experience, ideally gained within a creative business environment.
• Personable with strong and clear communication skills.
• Organised and logistical.
• CIPD is desirable.
• First Aid / Fire Training certification is desirable.
