  • This stand alone HR Manager role is ideal for forward thinking HR Manager who has experience of working within the food manufacturing sector.
  • Role is based 3 days in the office in North West London and 2 days at home (must be a reasonable commute)

The role:

  • The successful HR Manager will be responsible for leading the people strategy across employment legislation, recruitment, onboarding, training & development and performance management.
  • This HR Manager is a stand alone generalist role who will act as a trusted advisor to the company directors, they will lead strategic HR initiatives and projects that drive employee retention.
  • The HR Manager will ensure a safe, compliant and dynamic work environment across both the food manufacturing site and the office. You will champion health and safety.
  • Having excellent attention to detail the HR Manager will lead employee relations and sure all records, processes and ways of working are in line with current legislation. In addition you will have a good understanding of sponsorship and immigration legislation.
  • The HR Manager will play an active role in fostering a culture of growth and will also be identifying areas for continuous improvement.
  • In the role it is essential for the HR Manager to lead the creation of a high performing culture and will develop a skills matrix and robust performance development programs

Ideal candidate:

  • You will currently be working in a HR role within a UK food manufacturing environment, you may have had experience gained from large companies and but you must have experience gained from SME food organisations and be comfortable in a standalone role
  • It is essential that you can demonstrate good knowledge and expertise of HR legislation, processes and ways of working
  • You will have CIPD level 5 or equivalent
  • For the HR manager role you will be have a collaborative, hands on approach and be comfortable being part of a strong team
  • You must have excellent relationship building skills you will be able to communicate and influence with directors and other stakeholders
  • The HR Manager must have strong numerical aptitude and excellent attention to detail along with excellent project and time management experience.
