HR Manager - East Grinstead - Education

£35,000 per annum plus benefits

Permanent

Reed Education are supporting a growing nursery establishment who are seeking a HR Manager to join their friendly team. This is an exciting role and you will play a pivotal role in sharing the future of the company.

This role would suit a CIPD Level 5 or 7 qualified individual who is interested in working with an organisation who are going through an exciting growth phase. The successful candidate will have experience/happy to get involved in all aspects of HR ranging from administration, payroll through to succession planning for the nurseries within the group.

The main purpose of the role is to lead the strategic future of the organisation as well as ensuring the nurseries are fully staffed by regularly analysing workforce. 

HR Manager Responsibilities 

  • To lead the strategic direction of staffing for the nurseries
  • Develop and deliver a yearly strategy 
  • Regularly review a staffing plan that allows for sustainable growth
  • Lead the management and development of staff within the HR team
  • Advise staff regarding T&C's and HR matters
  • Manage Occupational Health/Mental Health referrals 
  • Ensure relevant HR policies and processed in place and implemented 
  • Oversee input of employment and payroll details for starters and change in contracts
  • Assist the Managing Director with implementing new HR systems
  • Maintain the time and attendance systems including overtime and sickness records

Required Skills/Abilities 

  • CIPD Level 5 or 7 
  • Experience working with HRIS and talent management systems
  • Experience in a transactional and transformational role
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and delegate accordingly
