Job Title: HR/Compliance Administrator

Location: Berkshire, UK

Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum

Contract: Full-time, Permanent (52 weeks a year)

Are you a dedicated HR/Compliance professional seeking an exciting opportunity in the education sector? A prestigious school in Berkshire is looking for a proactive HR/Compliance Administrator to join their team. With a competitive salary and a supportive work environment, this role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on the school community.

5 days a week required on site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with the Headteacher to ensure the smooth running of all HR and compliance processes within the school.
  • Process all administrative tasks related to HR, including but not limited to recruitment, contracts, payroll, and staff records management.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with statutory regulations and school policies.
  • Coordinate training sessions and workshops to ensure staff are informed and compliant with relevant legislation.
  • Act as a point of contact for staff regarding HR-related queries, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Conduct regular audits to monitor compliance levels and identify areas for improvement.
  • Keep abreast of changes in legislation and best practices within the education sector, and update school policies accordingly.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in HR and compliance roles, preferably within a school or educational setting.
  • Sound knowledge of employment law, safeguarding regulations, and GDPR.
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills, with keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to work collaboratively with staff at all levels.
  • Ability to work autonomously and prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR software.
