We are currently recruiting for an HR Business Partner In this role you will play a crucial role in steering employee relations and human resources strategies. This position is based in Stockport and support the business's customer service and contact centres, consisting of 700-750 employees.

This position demands a seasoned HR generalist who is deeply committed to the enhancement and management of employee relations. You will spearhead initiatives to improve workplace culture, manage complex case resolutions, and effectively address escalations as they arise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee a large employee relations case load, becoming hands on for any escalations, focusing on fostering a positive work environment and maintaining legal compliance.
  • Support and advise the business in a range of HR activities including recruitment, remuneration strategies, managing pay reviews, and overseeing bonus cycles.
  • Conduct and oversee interventions on bespoke projects such as adjusting work hours and implementing strategies to reduce attrition.
  • Participate in weekly management meetings to discuss HR metrics, operational challenges, and personnel issues.
  • Effectively manage relationships with senior management up to C-suite level.
  • Develop and support career pathways and progression plans for employees, enhancing staff retention and satisfaction.
  • Craft and present impactful, data-driven recommendations to influence decision-making and improve HR practices.
  • Line manage and support one HR Advisor.

Requirements

  • Proven expertise in managing and improving employee relations within a diverse workforce.
  • Strong strategic and operational capabilities, with the ability to influence senior management and build credibility quickly.
  • Resilient in handling HR challenges and capable of leading substantial organisational change.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a focus on developing and delivering data-driven presentations and solutions.
  • Experience supporting a high volume employee environment, contact centre/customer service would be highly desirable.
