This public sector organisation is an historic local authority in central London.

Your new role
Supporting designated directorates while the organisation goes through a significant period of change, key responsibilities will include:

  • Work closely with relevant management teams to establish strong and lasting relationships, understanding their needs from an HR perspective
  • Lead on all complex ER cases, supporting managers with relevant policies and processes
  • Work closely with specialist HR teams including recruitment, L&D, to ensure the directorate's needs are being met
  • Support with a myriad HR projects including policy reviews, workforce planning, reward, systems, and training


What you'll need to succeed
The organisation is looking for a seasoned HR Business Partner with experience that includes

  • Having worked within local authorities, or other complex public sector organisations with strict governance processes
  • Significant experience with relationship building and supporting complex senior stakeholders
  • Evidenced experience working successfully with Trade Unions
