Exclusively partnering with Ladurée for a newly created and permanent HR Business Partnering role to built and deliver the HR strategy aligning HR practices with local business goals, brand values and group vision. The position is based in Paris and is a crucial part of the HR team, providing support and guidance to the company's leadership team.

Client Details

Ladurée is a French patisserie and retailer of high-end pastries and candy, established in 1862. It is one of the world's best-known sellers of the double-decker macaron, 15,000 of which are sold every day. With head office in Paris, and now operations and stores worldwide, Ladurée crossed the English Channel and establishes itself at Harrods in London. Now with 8 successful stores across London, they are looking to expand and scale operations across the UK.

Description


HR guidance for managers and teams

  • Consult with line management and provide daily HR guidance
  • Resolve complex employee relations issues and address grievances
  • Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale and increase productivity and retention
  • Resolve complex employee relations issues and address grievances
  • Drive the disciplinary procedure and redundancy situations
  • Litigations management

Make people grow from within

  • Manage the Head of Recruitment and Training and obtain results
  • Create and follow up with managers the talent management
  • Monitor and report on workforce and succession planning

Employer Brand equity (internal and external)

  • Create and follow up the work hazard prevention plan referring to compliance and well being at work
  • Propose and drive the internal communication, employee satisfaction,
  • Identify and develop the values, strength and points of improvement to increase the visibility of the Maison Ladurée on the market.

Recruitment Management

  • Drive with the Head of Recruitment and Training the recruitment strategy (refer to JD of the Head of Recruitment and Training)
  • Work with HR Group about tools, local and global jobbaords to have efficiency and coherency

HR Team management

  • Make his/her own team grow, feeling good and be HR partners efficient.

Payroll and administration

  • Coordinate the payroll with the supplier
  • Manage the HR assistant and insure the complete compliance of contract, documentation, tools…
  • Manage administrations relationships

Compensations and Benefits

  • Design a compensation package based on business goals and strategy
  • Create a consistent compensation guideline that matches Ladurée local and Group,
  • Create and analyze job descriptions evaluations and classifications
  • Conduct salary and labor market research to define benchmarks
  • Apply effective communication strategies

Social metrics

  • Create and follow up convenients reports of social KPI's : TO, seniority, absences, labour costs…

Profile

  • Proven experience in a leadership role within the Human Resources department.
  • Experience in the retail or similar industry is highly desirable however not essential.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a start-up environment
  • French speaking (any level) will be highly desirable however not required.
