Our client is a leading international business.

The role

The company is looking for an HR Assistant for 3-4 months to support with workload and there is the possibility the role could become permanent for the right person.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the HR inbox and acting as first point of contact for HR queries, resolving these where possible and signposting and escalating as required.
  • Updating the company intranet so managers have access to relevant information, helping them to deal with a range of HR issues.
  • Completing the new starter and leavers process.
  • Greeting new starters on their first day of work.
  • Coordinating employee onboarding and orientation sessions.
  • Maintaining and updating employee records, both physical and digital.
  • Managing employee leave requests and maintaining accurate records.
  • Updating the HR system with any employee changes
  • Supporting HR projects and initiatives as required.

Person Specification

  • Proven experience as an HR Administrator/Assistant or similar role.
  • Knowledge of HR processes and best practices.
  • Familiarity with HR software and systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with colleagues at all levels.
  • Proactive approach and ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Salary: £23,000 - £25,000

Start date: ASAP

Location - Central Bristol |hybrid working (1-2 days per week in the office)
