Our client, a well regarded, mid-sized law firm are looking to recruit a full time HR Assistant to join their busy HR department in their London office.

Reporting directly to the Head of Human Resources, this is an amazing opportunity for someone in the early stages on their HR career to gain some great exposure and experience.

DUTIES AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Recruitment (full process, from drafting and posting adverts to arranging interviews and making offers)
  • Onboarding (preparing and issuing offer documentation, requesting references, setting up on all of the firm’s systems etc)
  • Carrying out first day inductions for new joiners
  • Overseeing the firm’s mentoring scheme
  • Overseeing the employee probation process
  • Updating and issuing employee staff lists
  • Preparing references for previous employees
  • Booking L&D courses for employees
  • Maintaining and updating the firm’s HRIS systems with absences, sickness, annual leave etc
  • Responding to all HR queries from internal and external individuals via email and telephone



SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

The ideal candidate will have:

? 6 months experience in an HR related role (preferred)
? Administration experience (required)
? Knowledge of HR processes (required)
? Experience communicating with internal and external employees and clients (required)
? Strong organisational and time management skills (required)

HOURS OF WORK

The firm's core office hours are 09:30am to 17:30pm Monday to Friday, 5 days per week. Hybrid working in place, once fully trained.
