HR Assistant

Duration: 9 - 12 months

Location: Winchester

Hours: 22.5 per week over 3 days, flexibility on the days

Core office hours: 8:30am - 5pm

Pay: £12.84 per hour

Tate are currently looking for a HR assistant to support our client based in central Winchester. This role will be working in the office in a small team supporting hiring managers with on boarding new starters and processing administration. You do not need to have previous experience in HR, you do need to have proven administrative skills.

Day to day the role will involve:

  • Providing administrative support for the range of HR activities undertaken by the department, including recruitment, employee relations, learning and development and employee benefits.
  • Liaising with hiring managers throughout the business and supporting their recruitment
  • Attending meetings and taking notes
  • Provide general office cover including answering the phones, greeting any visitors to the department, opening, and distributing the post, general tidying and filing.
  • Helping to update and maintain the ATS to ensure reporting is accurate.
  • Managing the Team mailbox and calendar, ensuring correspondence is responded to promptly.
  • Ensuring timely, friendly, and helpful communication with hiring managers and employees

The successful candidate will have the following skills:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong previous administration skills
  • Be able to juggle a varied workload.
  • Excellent attention to detail
