The HR Advisor will assist in providing comprehensive HR support from start to finish, collaborating with the HR Manager to furnish all managers and employees with guidance based on best practices. Additionally, there will be opportunities to participate in significant people-centric projects. The role may occasionally necessitate travel to other locations.

Description

  • Serve as a champion for Human Resources, enhancing its influence and credibility while promoting HR initiatives.
  • Offer daily support and advice on HR policies and practices to both managers and employees, ensuring legal compliance.
  • Handle cases related to absence, disciplinary actions, and grievances, involving the HR Manager only when necessary.
  • Oversee and execute policies and activities that are family-friendly from start to finish.
  • Facilitate new employee orientation sessions, contributing to the creation of materials and coordinating with various teams for effective delivery.
  • Assist managers with the development of their people management capabilities, collaborating with the HR Manager to create and provide internal training to enhance managerial skills.
  • Conduct employee engagement efforts, creating and executing communication strategies and materials, and leading engagement activities onsite.
  • Perform administrative duties including creating contracts and managing data within HR systems.
  • Step in for payroll processing tasks in the absence of HR administrators, handling payroll inquiries and resolving issues.
  • Coordinate occupational health evaluations, working with the Health & Safety department on follow-up actions and preventive measures.
  • Support the professional growth of the HR administrator.

Profile

  • At least 3 years generalist HR experience
  • Employee Relations Experience
  • Aerospace/Industrial background
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to adapt to change
  • CIPD qualification is highly desirable but not essential
