We are seeking a dedicated HR and HSE Advisor to join our Engineering & Manufacturing team in Birmingham. This individual will be responsible for overseeing human resources and health, safety, and environmental procedures within the Industrial / Manufacturing industry.

Description

  • Oversee all HR functions, including recruitment, training, and employee relations
  • Implement and manage health, safety, and environmental procedures
  • Provide support and advice on HR and HSE matters to the team
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant HR and HSE legislation and standards
  • Participate in the development of HR and HSE strategies and initiatives
  • Handle employee grievances and manage conflict resolution
  • Conduct regular HR and HSE audits and generate reports
  • Work closely with other departments to promote a healthy and safe working environment

Profile

A successful HR and HSE Advisor should have:

  • NEBOSH National Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety
  • Certificate in Environmental Management desirable
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role, preferably working in the manufacturing, ideally automotive sector.
  • Proven track record of dealing with and managing health & safety and environmental issues
  • Stakeholder management and management influence
  • Excellent communications skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to demonstrate conceptual thinking, possess resilience and patience
  • High level of diplomacy and can relate to people from all areas of the business
  • Knowledge and understanding of applicable regulatory requirements
  • System Auditor for ISO 45001 & ISO14001
