Friday 08:00 - 15:50

Salary: £34k to £36k

STOP please read: This is not an entry level position, you will need a proven history working directly within HR. Also there is also no hybrid or part time working with this role.

We are looking for an experienced HR advisor who is looking to get their teeth stuck into a new exciting challenge. Someone who can start and make an immediate impact (positive one) and get straight to work.

This role will see you working within an experienced & dynamic HR team reporting directly to the group HR manager. You will be responsible for your standard day to day HR responsibilities, working in a busy environment in a group that is just going from strength to strength and expanding.

You will be required to travel between 2 sites Leicester (your place of work) and Leeds from time to time. This role is a standalone position you will be the sole HR presence in Leicester initially, but your HR team is on hand if you need them.

To be considered for this role we are looking for:

  • Previous proven experience working in a HR generalist or HR advisor role.
  • Previous experience working with unions. Able to develop strong industrial relationships.
  • CIPD level 3 minimum (higher levels beneficial).
  • Experience using Workday, ADP, kronos or SAP (the more the better).
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is a benefit.
  • Capable of using your own initiative to be proactive.
  • Confident in your own knowledge and ability.
  • Able to multi task and prioritise tasks.
  • Full UK licence and own transport.
