We're looking for an HR Advisor to join our client in Tiverton, supporting the business by delivering tailored advice and services to local teams, while also contributing to group-based projects.

Our client is happy to consider applications from candidates seeking both Full-Time (35 hours per week) and Part-Time (25 - 30 hours per week) employment.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality, locally focused HR advice and service.
  • Work independently, reporting to the Group HR & Administration Manager.
  • Deliver vital day-to-day operational support, including absence management and employee relations matters.
  • Collaborate closely with the HR Manager and team to deliver HR services across the group.

Key Skills Required

  • Full working knowledge of Office 365.
  • Previous understanding of HRIS.
  • Experience in a generalist HR role, including employee relations, absence management, and policy implementation.
  • Minimum CIPD Level 3 in HR or substantial professional experience.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Administration experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Ability to organize events and facilitate training sessions.

Daily Duties

  • Provide support to colleagues and managers within established policies and procedures.
  • Conduct exit interviews and manage the leaver's process.
  • Audit and review HR policies, procedures, and documentation regularly.
  • Oversee investigations, disciplinary, and grievance processes.
  • Prepare necessary documentation for HR administrative tasks.
  • Support efforts to improve attendance, including managing long-term sick leave.
  • Assist with the upkeep and implementation of company policies and procedures.
